We are a community based residential house for adolescents
and provide programs of excellence.
Stepping Stone House cares for young people who are homeless,
through no fault of their own and who want to be helped. These
are no ordinary kids. They have lived through hell – drunken
mothers, predatory fathers, violence, terror, cruelty and crime.
In crisis, they end up on the street or in refuges, and then
at Stepping Stone. The aim is to empower them through nurturing
and challenging experiences.
- We have a Counselling service for families in crisis.
- We do not employ professional fundraisers and are non-denominational.
- We receive no regular government assistance.
- 100% of all our funds go directly to operational costs.
